St. Anne’s Memorial Day BBQ
After placing the wreath at the base of the American Flag in memory of all who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, the members of St.Anne’s marched in the Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade followed by a small barbecue back at the council.This year we honored Clyde Goddard, United States Navy World War II veteran, father of Karen Godard and father-in-law to John Kolb PGK, thanking him for his service. Mr. Goddard traveled across the North Atlantic protecting convoys against submarine attack.

2nd Annual Feed the Children Fundraiser
On February 29th of this year at our brother Council in the Philippines past Grand Knight Jerry Rivera and members from Kawanggawa council 9189 ran their 2nd Annual Feed the Children fundraiser.
The efforts of our brother Knights brought 120 meals to indigent elementary school children who otherwise would not have a nutritional meal.
Congratulations to all our brother Knights who participated especially Sir Knight Jerry Rivera PGK for representing St Annes Council in this worthy endeavor.

Super Bowl Sunday with the Veterans at St. Albans Veterans Hospital
No matter what team you were rooting for in the Super Bowl, the big winners were the Veterans at St. Albans Naval Hospital where Commodore Barry Assembly 712 showed up to feed our veterans a wonderful breakfast, distribute warm weather winter clothes and escort them to Sunday Mass.
A big congratulations to all who showed up to help.
Representatives from St Anne’s Council, Olympia Council, Jamaica Council 337, and Bishop Raymond Kearney Council were present led by our faithful navigator Anthony Das.

K of C Tree Lighting
Our Christmas tree lighting ceremony was held Dec1st.
Congratulations to both PGK’s Jerry Rivera and Dennis Ruiz for a wonderful job decorating both the tree and the hall.
Father Dulaney as always gave an inspirational blessing for the upcoming Christmas celebration.
